Programmatic Response to COVID-19

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to grip the world, few are at greater risk than our children. Although we were unable to travel to Saint Lucia in 2020 and many of our programs had to be suspended and put on hold, there was tremendous surge in need in Saint Lucia. Below are just some of the ways we were able to respond in 2020.

  • Through the generous donation of an anonymous donor we were able to provide a 1080P HD Video Projector to a teacher from the Micoud Primary School for use in her class.

  • Niah Derose was the recipient of the Anselm Charles Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship provided textbooks, school supplies and a backpack as well as payment of school fees (Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School)

  • Students Kervon Henry, Zelon Marcellin, Meayannie Raggie, and Roquel John received $250 vouchers redeemable at Books & More Bookstore in Micoud, Saint Lucia.
